I had a really great experience to renew my BLS CPR. It was super easy to book a class online. The course instructor was very knowledgeable, hands-on, and helpful with answering questions. There is a nice 2-page guide supplied online with your online purchase with important points to remember and helps you prepare ahead of the class. Remember to submit online or bring your prior CPR card if you are taking a renewal class.I really like the class size as it was smaller than what I have experienced in the past at other facilities. This made it so much better and easier to get through the questions, material, practice, and was so much more efficient. He supplied a copy of my AHA card right away after taking the test as well as a nursing CEU certificate. Excellent! I will definitely come back for my next renewal!

From CPR to first aid to defibrillator use, these courses provide participants with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to respond to a variety of potential emergencies.

HeartSaver CPR/AED Course

The HeartSaver CPR/AED course is an invaluable program for anyone who wishes to learn the lifesaving skills of Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and the use of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED). This course is specifically designed for individuals with little or no medical background but can benefit anyone.

Participants will learn how to properly administer CPR to adults, children, and infants, ensuring appropriate chest compressions and rescue breaths. The course also covers the basics of AED use, including setup, operation, and safety considerations. The objective is to provide participants with the knowledge and skills necessary to increase survival rates in cardiac arrest cases.

HeartSaver CPR/AED/First Aid Course

The HeartSaver CPR/AED/First Aid course combines the basic CPR and AED training with comprehensive first aid instruction. This course is perfect for those who want a broad understanding of emergency response procedures.

Alongside the CPR and AED training, participants will learn how to recognize and respond to a variety of first aid emergencies. This includes but is not limited to: choking, shock, wounds, burns, fractures, seizures, and allergic reactions. Practical, hands-on training allows participants to apply theoretical knowledge to real-world scenarios, equipping them with the skills to provide immediate and effective care until professional help arrives.

Each AHA HeartSaver course complies with the latest Guidelines Update for CPR and Emergency Cardiovascular Care (ECC) from the American Heart Association. Upon successful completion of the course, participants receive a course completion card that is valid for two years.

HeartSaver Pediatric First Aid CPR/AED Course

The HeartSaver Pediatric First Aid CPR/AED course is specifically designed for those involved in childcare. It is ideal for parents, teachers, babysitters, daycare providers, and others responsible for children’s safety. This course provides the skills and knowledge necessary to deal with first aid, illnesses, injuries, and prevention in a pediatric setting for infants and children up to the age of 18.

Participants will learn how to properly administer pediatric CPR and use an AED, and how to provide first aid for common injuries and illnesses specific to children, including asthma, anaphylaxis, falls, and more. Training includes both theoretical knowledge and hands-on skills practice to ensure that learners can effectively provide care when emergencies arise.

HeartSaver K-12 Course

The HeartSaver K-12 course is an age-appropriate resuscitation and first aid training program for kindergarten through 12th grade students, staff, and teachers. This program is designed with the needs of a school environment in mind.

The K-12 course covers the same primary skills as the HeartSaver CPR/AED and First Aid courses, including CPR, AED use, and basic first aid, but contextualizes these skills for a school setting. This ensures that participants are well-equipped to respond to emergencies that may occur in schools, ranging from accidents during physical activities to sudden illnesses.

HeartSaver Online Courses

For those who prefer the convenience of online learning, the HeartSaver Online courses offer a flexible option. These courses combine interactive online learning with hands-on skills practice and testing. Participants complete the cognitive portion of the course at their own pace, wherever they have internet access.

Following the online portion, participants must complete a hands-on skills session with an AHA Instructor or a voice-assisted manikin (VAM), depending on the course. This allows participants to practice and demonstrate the skills they’ve learned in a controlled and safe environment.

HeartSaver Online courses cover all the same material as their in-person counterparts, including CPR, AED use, and first aid procedures. Online courses are a great solution for those with busy schedules, providing an efficient and flexible way to gain these crucial lifesaving skills.

All HeartSaver courses comply with the latest Guidelines Update for CPR and ECC from the American Heart Association. Upon successful completion of the course, participants receive a course completion card, valid for two years.

I used Sierra BLS for my BLS renewal and had a great experience. It was super easy to schedule and I was able to get in for a skills check ASAP. Very nice staff and a clean environment. Absolutely recommend and I will return for recertification in 2 years!

I highly recommend this company if you’re looking to get your BLS/ACLS. The instructor, Terrance is extremely knowledgeable and a great teacher. He’s very patient and understanding, and he will make sure to have all of your questions answered by the end of the day.
