Welcome to SierraBLS.com. These Terms and Conditions (“Agreement”) govern your use of our website, services, and training programs. By purchasing a course, using our website, or engaging in SMS communications, you agree to the terms outlined below.
1. General Terms

We provide training and certifications through organizations including, but not limited to:
- American Heart Association (AHA)
- American Red Cross
- NAEMT
- Nevada State Nursing Board (CEUs)
We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify, update, or replace these Terms at any time without prior notice. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of any changes.
We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason at any time.
2. Purchase and Payment Policy
All payments must be made in full prior to course attendance unless otherwise agreed in writing. Failure to complete payment will result in denial of service.
All purchases are non-transferable unless explicitly approved by Sierra BLS, LLC.
By completing a purchase, you agree not to initiate a chargeback or payment dispute without first contacting us to attempt resolution. Unauthorized chargebacks may result in:
- Permanent ban from services
- Collections action
- Additional administrative fees
Confirmation of registration is only valid upon receipt of payment.
Students are required to arrive on time. Late arrivals may be denied entry without refund.
3. Refund and Cancellation Policy
All sales are final except as explicitly stated below.
3.1 Course Cancellations and Refunds
- Refund requests must be submitted at least 7 days prior to the scheduled course date
- Approved refunds are subject to a 10% non-refundable processing fee
- Refunds are issued at our sole discretion
3.2 Non-Refundable Situations
No refunds will be issued under any of the following circumstances:
- Cancellation within 48 hours of the scheduled course
- Failure to attend (no-show)
- Failure to complete or pass all requirements of the course
- Removal from class due to disruptive, unsafe, or inappropriate behavior
- Digital course access (including HeartCode or any online modules)
- Opened, accessed, or shipped course materials
If an instructor’s certification is revoked or not granted due to violations of governing organization policies (e.g., AHA), no refunds will be issued for associated services or materials, including ecards or courses.
3.3 Rescheduling Policy
- One (1) reschedule is permitted at no cost if requested at least 48 hours in advance
- Additional reschedules may incur a $25 fee per occurrence. Instructor courses or monitoring sessions will incur a $50 fee for this occurrence.
- Reschedules requested within 48 hours are not guaranteed and may be denied
3.4 How to Request a Refund
- Email: Send refund requests to Info@SierraBLS.com with:
- Course name
- Purchase date
- Scheduled course date
- Reason for refund request
- Processing Time: Refunds are reviewed within 7 business days and issued to the original payment method if approved.
4. Certification and Data Sharing Policy
Certification is contingent upon successful completion of course requirements and compliance with governing organization standards.
You authorize Sierra BLS, LLC to share necessary personal information with certifying bodies strictly for certification processing and compliance purposes.
We do not sell personal data. Data is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
We are not responsible for delays, errors, or denials of certification caused by third-party organizations.
5. SMS Communication & Consent
By providing your phone number and enrolling in our services, you expressly consent to receive SMS communications from Sierra BLS, LLC.
These may include:
- Appointment reminders
- Certification notifications
- Operational updates
Message frequency may vary. Message and data rates may apply.
You may opt out at any time by replying “STOP.” For assistance, reply “HELP” or contact us directly.
Consent to receive SMS messages is not a condition of purchase.
We do not sell or share SMS consent or phone numbers with third parties.
6. Website Use & Intellectual Property
All website content, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, and materials, is the exclusive property of Sierra BLS, LLC or its licensors.
Unauthorized use, reproduction, distribution, or modification is strictly prohibited and may result in legal action.
Website access is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind.
7. Liability Limitations
By participating in any training, you acknowledge and assume all risks associated with physical activity and skills practice.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Sierra BLS, LLC shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to:
- Personal injury resulting from improper use of training
- Loss of income, employment, or certification
- Errors or delays in certification issuance
- Technical failures or service interruptions
Your sole remedy for dissatisfaction is limited to the amount paid for the service.
8. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of the State of Nevada.
You agree to attempt to resolve disputes informally before initiating legal action.
Any legal proceedings shall be conducted exclusively in the courts located within Nevada.
9. Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. Updated versions will be posted on our website with a revised effective date.
Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of those changes.
